The Chautauqua School of Art residency program welcomes artists working in all disciplines who have yet to receive wide recognition of their work to apply for this residency. Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions Media Arts Grant

Creative Capital and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation are partnering to administer the Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions, supporting Media Arts. This residency program for emerging artists working in 2D, jewelry and metalsmithing, ceramics, and sculpture provides participants with a studio space, the opportunity to refine their teaching skills, and a generous monthly stipend. This program will fund employment for 300 artists working in collaboration with community-based organizations across New York State for two years. Participating artists will receive a salary of $65,000 per year plus benefits. Community-based organizations will receive $25,000-$100,000 per year to support their collaborations with these artists.
