64th New York Film Festival Spotlight

Film at Lincoln Center announces the Spotlight lineup for the 64th New York Film Festival (NYFF64), which offers a curated, eclectic survey of the year’s most eagerly anticipated films. Dynamic in scope and wide-ranging in style, the section highlights festival favorites, special presentations, timely conversation starters, and stellar performances. Presented by Film at Lincoln Center in partnership with Rolex, NYFF64 takes place September 25 through October 12 at Lincoln Center and venues across the city.

Charlotte Wells Charlotte Wells is a Scottish filmmaker based in New York. Her debut feature film, Aftersun, premiered in Critics’ Week at Cannes in 2022, was distributed in the US by A24, and was Academy Award nominated for Best Actor. Previously, Charlotte wrote and directed three short films. She is a graduate of the MBA/MFA dual-degree program at NYU.
