Artist BioFor a Special Projects Exhibition at P.S. 1 MoMA in Spring 2000, Jyung Mee Park created a large installation on site by folding and layering 10,000 sheets of rice paper, one by one into a larger form without any adhesives. Her sculptures are elegant and almost translucent, with references to thatched roofs and Buddhist lanterns.
