Faena Prize for the Arts
Miami, Florida

Artists across genres, disciplines, and technologies are invited to imagine temporary and site-specific projects to be installed at the Faena Beach during Miami Art Week 2022. The winning proposal will receive a US $100,000 prize.
Anita Wetzel Residency Grant
Deadline: August 1, 2022
The Anita Wetzel Residency Grant is a new opportunity focused on mature artists (ages 45 and up) to create new work. The residency provides artists with 4–6 weeks to work in Women’s Studio Workshop’s intaglio, letterpress, papermaking, screen printing, darkroom photography, or ceramics studios. Selected artists will also receive a stipend of $350/week, up to $500 for materials, and up to $250 toward travel.
Franconia Sculpture Park Residencies

Franconia provides a communal residency experience where up to 18 selected artists live on-site at their 4500 sq. ft. farmhouse. Applicants should express an interest in investigating and creating work exploring intersectional impacts between public art and public health.
Franconia Artist Family Residencies

The Artist Family Residency supports Artist Parents and Artist Youth alike with a one-two week residency at Franconia in July. The Artist Parent receives a $2000 unrestricted stipend and youths ages 8–17 may participate in Free Youth Installation Summer Camps.
Art and Change Grant

This grant provides support of up to $2,500 to women and trans artists and cultural producers in greater Philadelphia to fund art for social change projects.
Bemis Center Fall Residency
Omaha, Nebraska
Deadline: August 1, 2022
This residency is open to national and international artists of all disciplines showing a strong professional working history. Residents receive a $1,000 monthly stipend, an additional $750 travel stipend, and access to installation and production spaces. Application fee: $40.
Artist Trust Endurance Grants
Washington State
Deadline: August 1, 2022
Artist Trust will provide 40 unrestricted need-based grants of $2,500 to artists working in all disciplines across Washington State to assist with an unforeseen emergency, crisis, or catastrophic event. This grant is open to artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and/or Native, LGBTQIA+, immunocompromised, with immigrant status, have or are living with a disability, and/or low income.
Betty Bowen Award
Deadline: August 1, 2022
This award is open to visual artists working in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. Administered by the Seattle Art Museum, the award honors a Northwest artist for their original, exceptional, and compelling work. The winner receives $15,000 and will be able to show their work at the museum in the spring. Up to two Special Recognition Awards in the amount of $2,500 will also be granted. Application fee: $10.
Lab Artists Program

The Chicago Dancemakers Forum’s Lab Artists Program will provide up to six Chicago-based dancemakers with a $25,000 grant, along with a year of tailored support to aid in their research, development, and presentation of new dance work.
National Parks Arts Foundation
Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, Hawai’i

Sacatar Fellowships

This fellowship provides a seven- to nine-week residency to individual artists of all nationalities and disciplines. Application fee: $25 USD.
Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants

This program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need who are practicing in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography.
Fountainhead Residency Open Call
Miami, Florida

The month-long Fountainhead Residency is open to visual artists with demonstrated artistic excellence. Artists-in-residence receive roundtrip airfare, living and working accommodations and a stipend. The first 300 applications will be accepted July 5–August 5, 2022.
Artists Residency at MAWA

Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art is offering residencies of 2-4 weeks to women, non-binary, trans and 2-Spirit women-identifying visual artists. Accommodation is provided for free and MAWA will pay a $335 fee for a presentation of your work to members.
MAC Artist Fellowship Program

This program, open to Washington state visual artists, provides grants of $5,000 and $10,000. They are seeking highly-motivated emerging and mid-career artists looking to transition from undiscovered to established, self-sustaining professionals.
In Situ Artist Fellowship

This two-year fellowship provides a rent-free studio space, an annualized salaried position at $45,000/year with full benefits, and a solo exhibition in Spring 2024.
CMCA Artist Residency
Rockland, Maine

The Center for Maine Contemporary Art is seeking proposals for the development of a public art project. The selected artist will receive a monthly $1,200 honorarium, and a project budget of up to $5,000. Open to artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latinx, or alternately identified persons of color who live year-round in Maine.
Oolite Arts Studio Residency
Miami Beach, Florida

This residency program offers visual artists working in a range of disciplines studio spaces located on Miami Beach. Facilities include a flex lounge, printshop, and large format inkjet printer.
Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants

This program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 to professional dancers across the U.S. who are in dire financial emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dire financial emergencies include the lack or imminent endangerment of essentials such as housing, medicine/healthcare, utilities, and food.
Canadian Women Artists’ Award

The Canadian Women Artists’ Award is a $5,000 cash grant open to Canadian women artists ages 25-40 in New York State working in visual art or media and design.
Corning Museum of Glass BIPOC Residency
Corning, New York

This artist-in-residence program invites artists to engage in a month-long period of practice-based glassmaking. Residents have access to the Museum’s comprehensive collection of over 50,000 glass objects, their research library on glass, and one of the most extensively equipped glassmaking facilities in the world.
Beauchamp Prize in Critical Art Writing
Deadline: August 31, 2022
Gulf Coast Magazine is accepting submissions for the Beauchamp Prize. Entries should be a single piece of critical art writing, written (or published) within the last year. A variety of creative approaches and formats to writing on the visual arts are encouraged, including thematic essays, exhibition reviews, and scholarly essays. The prizes range from $1,000-$3,000.
Franconia Fellowship

This fellowship supports mid-career artists working in sculpture and installation, including land art, ceramics, contemporary craft, experimental sound/music, and performance art. Fellows are provided a $7500 stipend to fabricate and install work for exhibition in the 50-acre outdoor sculpture park.
Franconia Writers Residency

Seven accomplished writers will receive a stipend, full room & board, and a two-week residency at the 50-acre outdoor sculpture park. 100 West – Corsicana Artist and Writer Residency advances the production and presentation of new work and ideas by an international community of artists and writers. Uncommon Art Residency

This residency, next to Grand Teton National Park, provides artists with 1-3 weeks of complimentary accommodations at The Anvil Hotel; a $200/week stipend; $200 in dining credits at Glorietta Trattoria; and access to shared studio spaces for ceramics, printmaking, and photography. In exchange, each artist offers a public talk and/or demonstration.
Lower East Side Printshop Keyhold Residency

Lower East Side Printshop offers emerging artists free year-long studio residencies to develop new work. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monotype, and waterbased screenprinting. Residents receive a $1,000 stipend, free career development workshops, and more.
OneBeat Music Residency

OneBeat is accepting applications for their arts exchange programs set to run in the spring and fall 2023. OneBeat will bring a total of 50 musicians (ages 19-35) drawn from up to 50 countries from around the world to the Southern U.S. for one month to collaboratively write, produce, and perform original music, and develop strategies for arts-based social engagement.
CPR – Center for Performance Research Artist Residency

This year-long residency seeks to support artists working within various perspectives of contemporary dance and performance, and time-based forms. Residents receive 150 subsidized rehearsal hours in the facility studios, curatorial support, access to equipment and production resources, a $1,000 stipend, and more.
The Civic Practice Partnership

The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Civic Practice Partnership (CPP), is a two-year artist-in-residence program for socially engaged New York City artists and art collectives. The residency comes with a $20,000/year honorarium, a $20,000/year project production budget, and more.
Joyce Awards

This award is open to innovative new projects by pioneering artists of color spanning the visual, performing, and multidisciplinary arts that engage diverse communities in Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Minneapolis-St. Paul. The commissioning organization receives $75,000—at least $25,000 of which is dedicated for an artist stipend.
NYC Mural Arts Project

Brooklyn Community Services is seeking applications from muralists to work on the NYC Mural Arts Project. The program uses a collaborative mural-making process as a tool to raise awareness and eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness. Three selected artists will receive a $20,000 honorarium on a deliverables-based contract.
Golden Foundation Artist Residency

Manhattan Art Grants

LMCC’s Manhattan Arts Grants have supported Manhattan-based artists, arts groups, and community-focused organizations in sharing rich arts activities with the public. The Dots Between

The Dots Between is a financial coaching program for artists who are motivated to address their financial practices, nurture their relationship with money, and establish the structures that will support their long term fiscal growth. The program is administered virtually for six-months and offered at no cost for artists of any medium and career stage.
Foundwork Artist Prize

The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual juried grant that we award to recognize outstanding practices by emerging and mid-career artists working in any media. The prize provides one honoree will receive an unrestricted $10,000 grant.
Pioneer Works Open Call

San Francisco International Film Festival

Bennett Prize

The Bennett Prize is a stipend/grant-in-aid program that supports the fine art practice of a woman painter working in figurative realism. The prize, administered by The Pittsburgh Foundation, provides $25,000 annually over two consecutive years and a solo exhibition to the winning artist. A runner up will be awarded $10,000.
