Christine Kuan, President & Executive Director, Creative Capital Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to championing artistic freedom of expression by directly funding individual artists creating innovative new works. Kuan has served as CEO, Sotheby’s Institute of Art; Chief Curator & Director of Strategic Partnerships, Artsy; Chief Curatorial Officer & VP of External Affairs, Artstor Digital Library; and Editor-in-Chief, The Dictionary of Art and Grove Art Online/Oxford Art Online, Oxford University Press. She has also held roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and has taught at University of Iowa, Rutgers University, and Beijing University via Princeton-in-Asia. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and a BA in Art History and English Literature from Rutgers University.
