Klip Collective is a visual art shop bridging projection lighting, technology, and storytelling. Klip was founded by photographer Pier Nicola D’Amico and video artist Ricardo Rivera in 2003 to create immersive video projection experiences. In a short ten years, the Philadelphia-based firm has gone from being a purely artistic endeavor to an experiential partner sought out by many of the world’s most respected agencies and cultural institutions. Klip Collective has had installations at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow, and Sundance Film Festival’s New Frontier in 2007, 2013 and 2014.

Josh James is a writer, musician, and installation artist. Despite a lifelong inclination to tinker around in a variety of media, his work continually gravitates to exploration of the relationship between humans and the technological landscape. He presented his first audio/visual gallery installation in 2004, and has worked in a variety of roles in both the commercial design and non-profit art worlds ever since. His work has been featured at Sundance 2013 and 2014, SXSW Interactive Arts 2012, The Moscow International Circle of Light festival 2014, and local arts festivals in Philadelphia. In 2007 he began working with Ricardo Rivera and Klip Collective, which led to an ongoing role as creative technologist on large-scale commercial projects for international brands.

Ricardo Rivera is a visual artist, filmmaker, and a true pioneer of video projection mapping, having earned a United States patent for his technological breakthroughs in the medium. His work has been featured multiple times at the Sundance Film Festival, including the commissioned festival bumper in 2014. Rivera directed Nightscape: A Light and Sound Experience at Longwood Gardens that attracted over 175,000 visitors in 2015. In the advertising world, brands including Nike, Target, NBC Sports and Adult Swim have sought his unique ability to use video projection art as a bridge between architecture, technology and storytelling. The common element in all of Ricardo’s work is groundbreaking creativity and technological innovation.
