Artist Bio

UNTITLED (Black Wanderings, Reckonings and Reveries) is a multimedia homage that merges a bird’s-eye view of Black life and radical geography with on-the-ground conversations among Black folks whose work is rooted in place, historical memory, and future possibility. The artist will work locally and diasporically to develop an exhibition that brings together archival research, family narrative, oral history, print, video, public art and intervention, and build collaborations that support a growing network of community artists and research spaces that weave Black collective imagination into cities and landscapes.
