David Hancock was described by The Village Voice as “the most audacious and provocative playwright to emerge on the Off-Broadway scene In the ’90’s.” The winner of two Obie Awards for his plays The Convention of Cartography and The Race of the Ark Tattoo, Hancock’s work also includes Leftover Future and The Sisters of Eve. Hancock lives in Minnesota and has the active support of The Foundry Theater in New York, Rude Mechanicals from Austin, Empty Space Theatre in Seattle, and New City Theatre in Seattle.
