Remember the future? M/F FUTURE is a pair of works inspired by the prophetic imaginations of William Burroughs and Doris Lessing about how we imagine what we will become. DECODER is a cut-up of sound, word and image, an intergalactic battle waged by a DJ of analog tape machines. Dead Time of Plenty, is a sequence of dreams and durational actions performed by an old woman, a girl and a dog, set against the backdrop of a collapsing city. M/F FUTURE takes a tag-team approach to a burning question: what do you do when you can see it coming?
The final chapter of DECODER, Nova Express, premiered at The Chocolate Factory on June 24th, 2023.
