Artist Bio

Emotional Lighting Systems is a series of lamps that exhibit various personality traits. Built from several pieces augmented by moveable mechanics and original software that react to viewers’ proximity or speed and the sounds they make, the lamps dim, light up, follow, and collapse, according to their given “personalities.” Each separate piece in Emotional Lighting Systems is created using a similar mechanical infrastructure and computer-generated intelligence.
