Artist Bio

Wom(y)n with a Y is an ongoing body of work whose shape is as wild and untamable as the curves of a Womyn. This mixed media project explores an array of narratives, celebrating and archiving through the indigenous practice of storytelling. A visual odyssey, weaving in the interconnectedness of generations through colors, cries, and textures; all particles of matter that make up our tribe of Womyn.  A physical representation of the weight that binds us together. Wom(y)n with a Y is a play on the word Woman, suggesting that the Y serves as a question of one’s purpose.
