Amie Siegel’s work—ranging from photography, video, film installations, and feature films for the cinema—has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Center for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv; and the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. Recent group exhibitions include the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY; CCA Wattis, San Francisco, MoMA PS1; MAXXI Museum, Rome; Kunst-Werke, Berlin; Walker Art Center and the Zabludowicz Collection, London. Her films have screened at Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and New York Film Festivals. Her work has been written about in Artforum, Texte zur Kunst, Art in America, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Flash Art, Salon and others, and is in public and private collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Tate Modern. She has been a fellow of the DAAD Berliner-Kunstlerprogramm and the Guggenheim Foundation, and a recipient of the ICA Boston’s Foster Prize, a Sundance Institute award and the Berlin Film Festival award for Provenance.
