Anna Robins is a media/musical storyteller, arts advocate, and collaborator based in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She has been professionally creating for over ten years in the form of narrative and documentary films, mixed media, musical compositions, songs, and digital designs. Inspiration for her work draws from life lessons and experiences in rural life, environmentalism, mental health, community building, and self-identity. Her work has been screened in festivals across the country, in programs with the Journey Museum of Rapid City, and The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis. An award-winning filmmaker and multi-grant recipient, she is passionate about sharing ideas from the rural northern plains using the local talent and voices that inspire them.
