The Museum of the Moving Image presents work by Creative Capital Awardees Peter Burr and Martha Colburn, as well as Laura Ortman. Martha Colburn presents her Creative Capital project, Western Wild… How I Found wanderlust and Met Old Shatterhand as a “live documentary” performance, along with Laura Ortman’s violin improvisations.

Peter Burr’s large-scale single-channel computer simulation [pictured] imagines an underground structure whose ‘smart architecture’ is overseen by artificial intelligences. This 90-minute work will loop continuously in the Redstone Theater.
