After years of work, Ghana ThinkTank will launch their Creative Capital Project, American Riad, to the public. Inspired by Islamic architecture, the collaborative art work combines housing justice and community-fostering in Detroit’s North End. The September 22 event is hosted by Ghana ThinkTank’s partners Oakland Avenue Artists Coalition, the Central Detroit Christian, and the MC for the night is Detroit Poetry Society’s Gabby Knox. The event includes food, music, and poetry.
