BigCi Environmental Awards 2017
Deadline: April 1, 2017
Australian and International Artists from various fields – visual art, installation, multimedia, performance, literature, music, photography, film making, curating – are invited to submit entries for the BigCi Environmental Awards 2017. The two winning artists will each receive (4) free weeks of BigCi residency and AUD$2,000 spending money. In addition to that, up to AUD$2,000 ARTFLIGHT travel subsidy will be shared between the two winners.
Expanded Body Residency Module
Deadline: April 2, 2017
The module offers an immersing experience across the territory of the Oasi Zegna, a mountain protected area extending for about 100 sq km in Piedmont, in the Biellese Alps, between Trivero and the Cervo Valley. The participants will be involved in the aesthetic experimentation of a radically ecological way of thinking, based on a non-hierarchical ontology in which all the subjects (living and non-living, plants, animals, rocks, artefacts, etc.) existing in that place are put on the same level.
Talemore Park Country Residency

Taleamor Park hosts self-directed residencies and retreats for artists, writers, scientists, and humanists. They welcome applications from those who are seeking a creative and contemplative environment free of distractions in which to begin, continue, and/or complete an artistic, personal, or scholarly project or from those with no specific product-oriented project in mind other than to simply relax, walk, and dream.
Pinea-Linea De Costa Artist in Residence Program
Cadiz Bay, Spain

PINEA-LINEA DE COSTA is an A.I.R. Program situated in Cadiz Bay, strategically located in Rota Town historic centre and close to natural spaces such as beaches, pine forests and dunes. It’s not only studios to work. It’s much more than this: It’s an A.I.R program for artistic research, production, meetings and exhibitions. It’s an opportunity for artists working in site specific projects whose aim is to dynamically contribute to improve the town, and seeking to foster cross-cultural relations between artists in residence, curatorial team and the locals, by involving the territory in an active way. The involvement of PINEA-LINEA DE COSTA in the local scene makes the stay a key experience in their creative process.
Titanik Artist In Residence Open Call

Titanik artist-in-residence programme (Turku, Finland) offers one – to three-month residencies for artists working in the intersection of sound and contemporary art. The residency period includes a possibility for exhibiting in the A.i.R. studio space. Additionally, the artists may arrange public screenings, performances etc. during the residency at the gallery space. There is also a possibility to use tools and audiovisual equipment upon agreement.
Artists are provided with free accommodation in a beautiful, fully equipped flat in city centre, within walking distance from Titanik. The flat is suitable for a single artist or a couple. The artists must fund all their living and working expenses,including food, transportation and materials.
2017 MMCA, Korea International Research Fellowship

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) hosts an international research program for the museum professionals including curators, conservators and educators. This program was initiated as a part of the Cultural Partnership Initiative (CPI) Project supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea. Participants of this program have been mainly curators of contemporary art museums from all over the world. This research program aims to provide a sustainable platform for initiating dialogues and for developing a comprehensive network among museum professionals.
Right of Return USA Fellowship

The Soze Agency is proud to announce the first year of the Right of Return USA Fellowship: Supporting Justice Through the Arts, funded by Open Philanthropy. This fellowship program will invest in formerly incarcerated artists to create original works that can further criminal justice reform in partnership with advocates and organizers. The first cohort will include five artists with diverse backgrounds, who will each receive a $10,000.00 prize, plus $10,000.00 for materials and production.
Digital Artist Residency

Museum of Oxford and Digital Artist Residency are jointly hosting an opportunity for an artist working in digital media to respond to the theme of Journeys to Oxford. Journeys to Oxford is a Museum of Oxford exhibition celebrating the vibrant cultural contributions made to life in Oxford by those who have travelled here to live, work, visit and study.
The digital residency provides an online space on DAR’s site for artists to develop works, ideas and practices. The resulting work will culminate in an exhibition at the Museum of Oxford during the Journeys to Oxford exhibition. The Journeys to Oxford residency will take place online from 10 June – 10 September 2017. The physical exhibition will then commence from 8th September – 4 November at the Museum of Oxford.
