Pioneer Works Spring Residency Program
Brooklyn, NY

Pioneer Works residency program provides a free space — and not just in economic terms — where experimental and evocative practitioners across a variety of disciplines can work in close proximity, sharing energies and ideas within an organization known for its open-ended approach to working and making. Pioneer Works is currently accepting applications for its Visual Arts and Technology residency programs.
100W Corsicana Residency
Corsicana, TX
Deadline: September 15, 2016
100 West grants artists and writers residencies to create work in a historic building repurposed for studio space. 100W is currently offering applications online for artists and writers seeking both funded and non-funded studio residencies. Two fully funded, six-week residencies are available for one artist and one writer between January – May, and October – December, 2017.
Walker Art Center Interdisciplinary Fellowships
Minneapolis, MN
Deadline: September 16, 2016
The Walker Art Center is hiring two new interdisciplinary fellows, one with an emphasis in Performing Arts and one with an emphasis in Visual Arts. The fellowships will afford training for curatorial work in an evolving field, and offer immersion in an exciting array of Walker projects and initiatives.
Guttenberg Arts Space and Time Artist Residency
Guttenberg, NJ

Space and Time Artist Residency at Guttenberg Arts provides artists with three months shared studio access to Bulls Ferry Studios, an artistic stipend of $1200, public artist talk or workshop and publicity in print and web based media. Artists will also be given a one month group show as well as studio visits from accomplished professionals from the art world. Each artist is required to give a free and open to the public artist lecture or workshop towards the close of their three month residency.
A Blade of Grass Fellowship
New York, NY

A one-year fellowship for individual artists and collectives. Fellowships pair project support of $20,000 with strategic support, field research tools, video documentation, and other tailored resources for socially engaged artists working nationwide. A Blade of Grass supports seven to ten artists or collectives per year, who are selected via an open application process.
Center for Investigative Reporting Filmaker-in-Residence
Emeryville, CA
Deadline: September 23, 2016
This residency supports recent graduates and women in the first five years of their careers. It will begin in mid-October 2016 and continue until mid-August 2017. Filmmakers must be based in or willing to move to the San Francisco Bay Area for the duration of the residency. This is a full-time position that pays $50,000 plus benefits for the 10-month residency. In addition, filmmakers will receive resources and funding to help them produce and complete their final projects.
La Paillasse Residency
Paris, France

First Open Community Lab in France, La Paillasse is launching its residency program –
a radical experience in line with its original philosophy. La Paillasse invites explorers, scientists and creators to Paris for a 6-12 month residency program with a focus on anti-disciplinary thinkers working at the intersection of science and art.
Teton Art Lab Residency
Jackson, WY

Teton Artlab supports visual artists by offering studio space, housing, and stipends in one of the world’s most unique landscapes, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The residency program is open to visual artists over 21 years of age not currently enrolled in a degree granting art program.
Harpo Foundation & Santa Fe Art Institute Emerging Artist Residency Fellowship
Santa Fe, NM

The Harpo Foundation’s Emerging Artist Residency Fellowship at the Santa Fe Art Institute (SFAI) provides an annual opportunity to an emerging visual artist 25 years and older who needs time and space to explore ideas and start new projects. Artist Fellows will receive a one-month residency at the Santa Fe Art Institute, which includes a private room and bath, a private studio space, and a $500 travel stipend.
Art & History Museums – Maitland Artist-in-Residence Program
Maitland, FL

The A&H Artist-in-Residence program celebrates the original artist colony mission of the A&H’s Maitland Art Center to create and atmosphere of research and collaboration. The residency will cover all room costs and a stipend will be provided based on the length or your stay.The artist-in-residence also will receive a one-person exhibition to be scheduled within two years at the Art Center galleries.
