Artist Bio

Pump & Dump Investments believes that art is a viable alternative asset class that can be exploited through strategic trading. The company purchases stocks in auction houses, art investment funds and in companies owned by major art collectors that trade on global exchanges. The investment information is exhibited through objects, installations, site-specific interventions and an eventual website,, that maps the collectors’ links between the art world and the world of economic, social and political power. By investing directly in the art product, Pump & Dump’s aim is to help bring transparency to a market otherwise synonymous with its opacity and lack of regulation.
