Julia comes to Creative Capital from the Sundance Institute, where she served for three years as Coordinator for the Documentary Fund. She previously held positions at the Gotham Film & Media Institute (formerly IFP), DOC NYC, and Tribeca Film Festival. Julia received a B.A. in Film from Johns Hopkins University. She also writes about film, and co-edits Syllabus, a weekly publication for creative syllabi.
