Both Ramona S. Diaz (2019 Grantee) and Jules Rosskam (2021 Grantee) will premiere their Creative Capital projects at Sundance Film Festival. Rosskam’s film Desire Lines tells the story of an Iranian American trans man who time-travels through an LGBTQ+ archive, while Diaz’s film And So It Begins explores a people’s movement that rises to defend the Philippines against deepening threats to truth and democracy. Titus Kaphar (2015 Grantee), Peter Sillen (2005 Grantee), and Yance Ford (2012 Grantee) will also have films at the Festival.
