Emily Gerard
Director of Development

Emily Gerard was appointed Director of Development in August 2021. In this role, she oversees the planning and management of Creative Capital’s comprehensive fundraising efforts. Gerard serves as a member of the leadership team and works closely with Creative Capital’s board of directors, guiding the organization’s advancement. Gerard comes to Creative Capital with over twenty years of experience in nonprofit arts management, philanthropy, governance, and fundraising. Prior to joining Creative Capital, Gerard served for over eight years as Director of Development at Aperture. Gerard also held roles at the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Parrish Art Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Gerard received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College, and studied abroad at the Courtauld Institute of Art and the Slade School of Fine Arts at the University of London.
