Pioneer of immersive art installations and experiments with smell, Creative Capital artist Josely Carvalho invents unusual fragrances such as Affection, Absence, Illusion, Pleasure, Emptiness, and Persistence.

Now you can collaborate with Josely to create custom fragrances for Creative Capital! Suggest words or phrases that remind you of Creative Capital and she will translate selected words into smells with her lab in Brazil. The scents will be captured in a set of four crayons.
Go wild—it doesn’t have to be an actual scent in real life! Examples: Oxygen, hope, desire, orchards, skin, energy…
