Bernheim is looking for artists who will reinforce their mission to “connect people with nature.” Their residency provides living quarters within the Bernheim forest, a $2,500 stipend, and studio space in exchange for a site-specific sculpture, project, or exhibition.

Little Tokyo Service Center
Los Angeles, California
Deadline: January 15, 2018
The Little Tokyo Service Center has announced its inaugural three-month artist residency open to California-based artists. Residents will receive a $4,000 monthly stipend, a sizable project budget, and have significant contact with and support from local cultural organizations.

BRIClab Residency
Brooklyn, New York
Deadline: January 16, 2018
The BRIClab residency program is open to artists in Brooklyn and New York City working in music, dance, theater and multi-disciplinary performance. Artists receive $1,750, technical support, and two work-in-progress showings.

ArtCenter South Florida Art in Public Life Residency
Miami Beach, Florida

Miami Beach is already vulnerable to sea level rise due to climate change. ArtCenter South Florida offers a chance for artists address this dire situation through a year-long residency in Miami Beach, with a $25,000 stipend, $7,500 in production fees and free housing.

Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Workspace

LMCC’s nine-month residency is open to artists of all disciplines, and it comes with a stipend, 24-hour access to their studio facilities, and community building and professional development opportunities.

This residency in Good Hart, Michigan, offers two-three week residencies to dedicated visual artists and writers. The residency provides a live/work studio space, food, a $500 stipend, and a quiet setting to concentrate on creative work. The residency works in partnership with several local community organizations.

Pratt is offering two studio residencies to visual artists with a demonstrated commitment to their artistic practice. One comes with a free apartment, and the other is for an artist already living in New York. The space is open to any artist with US work authorization.

Elsewhere Studios

Elsewhere Studios is offering a one-month fully-funded residency for a ceramic artist working with alternative firing techniques. The residency includes living space at Elsewhere, full access to Paonia Clayworks studio, and a $250 stipend. Artists are expected to host a one day workshop about their alternative firing process during the residency.
