Socrates Sculpture Park Emerging Artist Fellowship

The Emerging Artist Fellowship (EAF), is an annual residency program and exhibition that awards 15 artists the opportunity to produce and exhibit sculpture and installation in the Park. Fellowship recipients will receive a $5,000 production grant to support their project, and five-months of seven-days-a-week access to the resources and fabrication facilities of the Park’s outdoor studio.
Open Call: Art Africa Fair 2017

Art Africa Fair (AAF) 2017 is excited to announce their open call for artists and galleries to participate in Africa’s first fully curated international art fair, set to take place at the V&A Waterfront , Cape Town, between the 24^th February – 5^th March 2017. 2017 AAF 2017 invites artists and gallerists to propose work that challenges parochial perceptions surrounding Africa and provokes alternative artistic visions of the continent as defined by individual, lived experiences.

BRIClab Residency

BRIClab is a commissioning and residency development program for Brooklyn and New York City-based artists to explore and expand the possibilities of their work in music, dance, theater and multi-disciplinary performance. Artists receive stipends and an intensive residency in BRIC’s Artist Studio with development time, opportunities for artistic mentoring, and work-in-process performances.
Residency Unlimited (RU) 2017 Residency

Residency Unlimited (RU) is pleased to invite US based visual artists to participate in a three month residency program. Each artist will receive a stipend of $1,000, access to RU’s shared multi-use workspace, ongoing logistical and technical support from the RU staff for the successful realization of their project, and invitations to participate in monthly field trips and workshops.
Indiana University McKinney International Art and Design Residency

The School of Art and Design at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a 4-6 week Fall 2017 McKinney International Art and Design Residency. The residency is open to artists at all levels of their career whose primary country of residency is outside of the United States. Approximate dates for Fall 2017 are September 4th through Dec 15th. Selected applicants will be featured as part of the McKinney Visiting Artist Lecture Series and will receive studio space, lodging and a $4,000 USD honorarium. The program will also reimburse travel up to $2,000.
Zuckerman Museum of Art Emerging Curators Initiative

The Zuckerman Museum of Art announces its annual call for exhibition proposals from emerging curators in the field of contemporary art.The Emerging Curator(s) will receive a $1,500 fee and an exhibition budget of $7,500 for the 2016-2018 cycle, and will work with the ZMA’s staff of museum professionals to stage an exhibition or project in the ZMA’s galleries no less than 12 months and no more than 24 months from the date of notification.
Chilkoot Trail Artist Residency 
Skagway, AK

Together, the Yukon Arts Centre, Parks Canada and the US National Park Service are providing an opportunity for established visual artists to pursue their work amidst history and nature on the Chilkoot Trail. Artists will hike the entire trail during a two week backpacking trip, spending one to three days at each campsite. Artists will also receive up to $100 USD support from Skagway Arts Council in purchasing necessary art supplies and a $1,000 CAD honorarium from the Yukon Arts Centre. This residency is open to Canadian and American visual artists for 2017.
Los Angeles Artadia Awards

The Los Angeles Artadia Awards are open to visual artists who have lived or worked in Los Angeles County for at least two years. Individual artists and collaboratives working in all media, and at any stage in their career are strongly encouraged to apply. Artadia Awardees are selected through a two-tier jury process that combines local expertise with outside perspective from leading curators and artists. Two Awardees will be selected from the Finalist pool to receive unrestricted Artadia Awards of $10,000.
Santa Fe Art Institute Sponsored Equal Justice Residency
Santa Fe, NM

SFAI offers living and working space for one to three months in a beautiful, Ricardo Legorreta-designed building within Santa Fe. Each residency includes a fully furnished, private apartment and bath, communal kitchen, dining, and living room areas, laundry facilities, gallery / installation / event space, access to outdoor spaces and interior courtyards, a contemporary art library, basic foodstuffs, and bicycle access. SFAI subsidizes all the above at no cost to residents as part of their commitment to supporting individuals dedicated to positive social change through creativity.
School of Visual Arts NYC Artist-In-Residence

MFA Art Practice at the School of Visual Arts invites emerging and mid-career artists working in all disciplines to apply for the inaugural Art Practice Artist-in-Residence program. One artist will be selected to be the Artist-in-Residence for the duration of the Art Practice program’s summer semester. The residency period will be June 12 – August 4, 2017. The Artist-in-Residence will receive a studio, access to the facilities, including the Metal Shop, Wood Shop, Digital Sculpture Center, Digital Editing Lab, Fibers Lab, Ceramics Lab and Nature and Technology Lab, and a $2500 stipend.
