HOW TO APPLY

Creative Capital is the only national grantmaking and artist service organization for individual artists with an open application process. Our selection process includes three steps: inquiry, application and panel review.

To be eligible to apply, an artist must be:
• A U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
• At least 25 years old
• A working artist with at least five years of professional experience
• Not a full-time student

The Letter of Inquiry Form is now closed. Our next grant round will begin on February 1, 2014 for applications in Film/Video and Visual Arts.

CURRENT AWARD CALENDAR

February 1, 2012: Online Letter of Inquiry form opens for grants in Emerging Fields, Literature and Performing Arts
March 1, 2012: Submission deadline
June 2012: Notification of advancement to application stage
September 2012: Notification of advancement to panel review
January 2013: Announcement of awards
