12–1PM: Check in, meet + greet, with light refreshments
1–3PM: Project video screening
3–4:30PM: Reception with cocktails + bites

Cruise + Dance Party

(Dockside drinks on the boat from 6–8PM, boat departs at 8PM sharp)

Program Details
6–8PM: Dockside drinks on the boat (guests can arrive/depart before 8PM)
8PM: Boat departs for cruise and dance party
10PM: Boat returns to dock

Celebrate the Creative Capital community of artists, industry professionals, patrons, and friends with a boat cruise around the Statue of Liberty, drinks, music, and dancing.

Creative Capital Open House

Program Details
Informal gathering with awardees and staff with light refreshments. Dr. Aliza Shvarts, Director of Artist Initiatives, will provide an overview of our artist services and new Curriculum.

Accommodations
Our preferred hotel partner, The PUBLIC is offering a Creative Capital group a rate of $369 per night; select Queen Hi-floor room type and use code “CCVIP” for discount. Sheraton Midtown West offers rooms starting at $218. Reserve here.

Accessibility
All attendees are responsible for their own transportation.

Metrograph: All videos will have open captions. ASL interpreters will be available. The Metrograph is accessible. Seating for guests who use wheelchairs is available in both theaters, and the commissary on the second floor is accessible via both stairs and an elevator. 

The Circle Line: The boat is wheelchair accessible on the first level where there is an ADA compliant bathroom. There will be food and drinks on the first floor. The second level is reached by stairs only. 

Creative Capital HQ: The offices are accessible by elevator and have an ADA compliant bathroom.

Transportation
Guests are responsible for their own transportation between locations. There are several routes from the Metrograph to the Circle Line Pier 83 using public transportation:

  1. Take the F train from East Broadway to 42 St–Bryant Park Station.
    Transfer to the M42 bus at W 42 St & 6 Av; disembark at 12 Av/W 42 St
    Total travel time: ~41 mins. This route is not wheelchair accessible.
  2. Take the M15 Bus from Pike Street & Division Street to 1 Av/Mitchell Pl
    Transfer to the M50 Bus at 49 St/1 Av; disembark the M50 at 12 Av/W 42 St
    Total travel time: ~1 hr. 15 mins. This route is wheelchair accessible.
  3. Take the 6 train from Canal St to Grand Central – 42 St
    Transfer to the M42 bus at 42 Street & Lexington Avenue; disembark at 12 Av/W 42 St
    Total travel time: ~54 mins. This route is wheelchair accessible.

COVID-19
Event details are subject to change. Your health and safety is our top priority. We recommend all those attending the event be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Metrograph event is indoors and the dinner and the Circle Line have open air and covered spaces throughout.

This event is for guests 21 and older.

Travel Expenses
Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses. Grantees may use their remaining Creative Capital grant funds for travel expenses.
