Join writer and curator Kenny Fries (2009) for a discussion of the intersections between queer and disability histories, exploring the depictions of “the perfect body” in queer communities, and how individuals who identify as both queer and disabled have been integrating their histories through art. Kenny will talk about his curation of the groundbreaking exhibit “Queering the Crip, Cripping the Queer”(Schwules Museum Berlin 2022 – 2023), the first international exhibit on queer/disabled history, culture, and activism.
