Artist Opportunities with Upcoming Deadlines in November and December, 2020

As arts spaces cautiously reopen, organizations across the country continue their open applications for residencies, grants, fellowships, and prizes. Individual artists in financial need due to the COVID-19 outbreak still now apply for unrestricted emergency funding of $5,000 grants from Artist Relief through December 10, 2020.

Through active participation in NXTHVN’s programs, early-career artists and curators make the personal strides and interpersonal connections that advance their careers. Artists receive a stipend, subsidized housing, studio space, and more.

National Parks Arts Foundation Death Valley Residency
Death Valley National Park, California

The National Parks Arts Foundation invites artists of all artistic media to join their artist-in-residency program at Death Valley National Park, offering a $2,000 stipend, housing, events, and workshops.

UC Berkeley students and residents of the Bay Area are eligible to apply for this poetry fellowship. Each fellow will receive a $3,000 stipend for the semester, participate in readings, and more.

Women’s Studio Workshop Artist’s Book Grant
Rosendale, New York

This residency is designed to help artists produce a limited edition book work. The grant includes a stipend of $350 per week, up to $750 for materials, up to $250 for travel, free onsite housing, and studio access.

The Dots Between Fellowship

The Dots Between has an open application virtual fellowship for artists to gain financial literacy. The fellowship comes with $500, and is open to artists in any discipline who are based in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas.

This fellowship is open to Seattle’s King County artists between the ages of 18 and 25 creating artwork that examines and challenges structures of power in the fight for social justice. It provides $12,000 awards and modest promotional support through the 4Culture website.

Socrates Sculpture Park Fellowship & Exhibition

The Studio in the Woods seeks Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, people of color speculative fiction writers working in prose, poetry, and stage or screenwriting.
