In light of the important need for social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Creative Capital Artist Retreat.
We hope you are staying healthy and safe during this unprecedented crisis. This is a challenging moment for all of us, and we are so thankful for our arts community and mutual support in this time of great uncertainty.
The 2020 Creative Capital Artist Retreat will bring together some of the most innovative contemporary artists with cultural change-makers from across the country to Bard College for an immersive, weekend-long convening. Over the course of three days, June 11 to 14, 2020 Creative Capital Awardees, along with a number of earlier awardees, will take to the stage to present their groundbreaking project ideas to an audience of presenters, producers, and funders who can help realize their visions. In addition to these presentations, this exciting multi-day occasion includes moments for celebration, networking, and opportunities to connect with more than 60 artists practicing across a host of disciplines, all anchored by a spirit of generosity and creative exchange.
