Grantwriting for Artists

Throughout her career, Tracie Holder has raised over $2 million for her creative projects, and she has learned to build grantwriting into her artistic practice. She will help you make the case for why potential funders should be a part of your next project.
Applying for Grants & Residencies: Strategies for Writers

For a perspective from those on the other side of the selection panel, Ethan Nosowsky, Editorial Director of Graywolf Press, offers his expertise on what makes a great application. Nosowsky has served on many writing panels, and explains how to research and apply for artist opportunities, and how to make the best out of acceptance and rejection letters.
After securing funding, it’s important to hit the ground running with a realistic budget. Choreographer Andrew Simonet has decades of experience budgeting for his own projects, and teaching his skills to other artists of all disciplines. He will review how to determine what your time costs, establishing life-long sustainability practices, and more.
