Akumal International Artists Residency

Over the course of four weeks, artists will be immersed in a Caribbean environment with emphasis on a specific project or outcome. Artists of all disciplines are invited to apply to receive access to their living quarters, rooftop space, workspace and more.

CUE Art is seeking proposals for artist-centered public programs including events, talks, and workshops to be presented at their art space in New York. The foundation is looking for proposals that address timely topics or issues related to cultural production.

National Endowment for the Arts Our Place Grants

Through project-based funding, the NEA supports projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes.

Songkhla Artist Residency

In addition to providing artists with housing, workspace, food per diem, and stipend for supplies, this program encourages its residents to participate in their annual Songkhla Arts Festival.

Rhizome Microgrants Program

Rhizome offers grants from $500 to $1,500 for the creation of new projects. This year, they offer proposals for artworks and exhibitions in poetry (in the context of the internet), VR, and net art.

Basis Frankfurt International Curator-in-Residence
Frankfurt, Germany

This program welcomes applications from curators under 40 who are working on a wide spectrum of curatorial practices, research interests, and professional experiences. Resident curators are provided time and space to develop independent projects, as well as a stipend of 1000€ per month.

NYC DOT Art Request for Proposal
New York, New York
Deadline: August 17, 2018
The New York City Department of Transportation has a request for proposals to beautify barriers separating bike and pedestrian lanes with art. DOT Art provides selected artists with a design honorarium of $2,500 and a materials fee of $500 for stencil production.

Red Bull Arts Detroit

Red Bull Arts Detroit is now accepting applications for the 2019 Artist Residency, as well as the Curatorial Fellowship and Visiting Writer Fellowship. The organization provides housing, studio space, and a $12,000 stipend.

This four- to eight-month live/work residency encourages artists to explore a place-based thematic narrative. The program supports artists with living and work space, up to $500 for travel, and a weekly stipend of $200 to cover food, materials, and other expenses.
