Our next grant cycle will be as follows:
February 2011: Accepting letters of inquiry in Film/Video and Visual Arts
February 2012: Accepting letters of inquiry in Emerging Fields, Innovative Literature, and Performing Arts

Prior to the grant deadline, our grantmaking staff travel the country and hold information sessions hosted by arts organizations. In addition, we are available for questions and advice throughout the application process.

The Application Process
Our application process includes three steps: inquiry, application, and panel review.
To be eligible to apply, an artist must be:
- A U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
- At least 25 years old
- A working artist with at least five years of professional experience
