Nick Cave Drop

Description

Drop is a performance parade involving dancers, musicians, a video artist and Cave’s original sculpted Soundsuits. Part of an ongoing project with suits made from found materials that rattle and resonate with expressive body movement, Drop investigates the nature of aggressive behavior in contemporary society. Cave’s project includes residencies with Chicago public school students, exhibitions at the American Craft Museum, the Lincoln Park Zoo and other venues.
