Bronzeville Etudes & Riffs is an immersive, interactive graphic novel. The setting is an impressionistic rendering of South Side Chicago, circa 1940, where distinctive recurring characters, interactive objects and dramatic tableaux populate the neighborhood. Currently being developed as a web browser app, accessible via desktop and mobile devices.

A trilogy of plays loosely based on the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, portrayed as contemporary immigrants in the West. The trilogy includes: a stand-up comedy routine, Brahman/i, a one-hijra stand-up comedy show; a girl-gang thriller, The Chronicles of Kalki; and a destructive memory play, Shiv. The work is set to premiere in repertory, Mixed Blood Theatre, Fall 2013.

Patty: The Revival is a PoP! Musical Event inspired by the mythic histories of Patty Duke and Patty Hearst. Featuring an all-female cast of 15, Patty is equal parts religious revival, dance-pop concert, fashion show and theatrical installation.

Crazy is a solo theatrical performance asking the question, "Has modern psychiatry gotten it wrong?". Driven by storytelling and examination of what facts are and what truth means, it shapeshifts through contemporary performance modes and technologies to bang together episodes exploring the scientific, socioeconomic, political and personal forces inside modern mental health.

Bartok's Monster is a genre-defying book that will reconstruct a trip I took across Transylvania to retrace Bela Bartok's own expeditions, circa 1910, to collect folk songs. By synthesizing these original sources into his own music, Bartok became the preeminent avant-garde composer of the twentieth century.

New Observations is a publishing project that relaunched the historical art magazine of the same name with issue #129, spring 2013, titled Out Of The Box: The Way of Art On The Loose, guest edited by Joshua Selman. I am editing issue #130 titled The Mood of Our Time. Each issue allows in-depth research into current topics.

The main rotunda of the Art Deco bathhouse at Barton Springs in Austin, TX is transformed into an interactive projection featuring a virtual underwater representation of the Springs. Through physical interactions with various elements contained within the animation, visitors plumb the underwater world of the Springs.

Exposed on the Cliffs of the Heart will be an evening-length, interdisciplinary live performance using new sculptural technology to investigate power, self-awareness, dis/ability, sexual awakening and self-discovery. Created by a diverse group of collaborators, Exposed's final form will be an experimental run premiering in May 2013 and extending through multiple venues until November 2013.

The Fox and the Pomegranate is an allegorical opera about the multifaceted nature of love, the fluidity of gender roles and the nuances of infidelity. Written for three singers and chamber orchestra, the work presents audiences with the possibilities of new opera while drawing from opera's rich historical paradigms.
