Five Creative Capital projects at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) Conference, January 2010

Six Creative Capital Performing Arts grantees – Nora Chipaumire, Miguel Gutierrez, Heidi Latsky, David Neumann, Tere O’Connor and Reggie Watts – will present at the 2010 Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) Conference, January 8–12 in NYC. Five artists will showcase their Creative Capital projects before an audience of arts presenters, managers and other industry professionals.
Dance Theater Workshop, The Public Theater and Baryshnikov Arts Center will host performances of Miguel Guiterrez’s Last Meadow, Heidi Latsky’s GIMP, Tere O’Connor’s Wrought Iron Fog and Reggie Watts’s Transition, all of which have recently premiered to much critical acclaim. David Neumann’s presentation of Big Eater will preview iterations of the Creative Capital-funded work, which is scheduled to premiere at The Kitchen in the spring.
