Seven Creative Capital artists are featured in this year’s Performa Festival from November 1-22 in NYC

Seven Creative Capital grantees will present recent work as part of this year’s Performa 09 performance art biennial in New York City, from November 1-22. Brody Condon, Stephanie Rothenberg, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Joseph Grigely, Shelley Hirsch, Kalup Linzy, and John Malpede are among the artists represented at this year’s festival, which showcases new visual art performance work from more than 150 international contemporary artists. Creative Capital grantee presentations and performances are scheduled for MoMA, the New Museum, Anthology Film Archives, and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, among others.
