April Webinars for Artists: Values-Based Goal Setting, Demystifying Public Art & more
According to T.S. Eliot, "April is the cruelest month." At Creative Capital, we tend to think a little differently. This April, celebrate your art-making with one of five online learning offerings, including a NEW webinar led by artist Lynn Basa, Demystifying Public Art, and the continuation of our Conversations Inside series with independent producer Meredith Boggia. Additionally, if you are NYC-based, join us in the Creative Capital offices for wine, popcorn, and camaraderie as we launch our "Wine and Webinar" series with Stephanie Pereira's Kickstarter School.

Led by artist Dread Scott, this webinar covers all aspects of marketing your work, including defining your goals; developing effective tools, tactics, and messaging; and identifying, engaging, and building your audience and support community. The webinar also provides an overview of several effective case studies of artists who have used both traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies in support of their work.

More Information >>
Led by arts consultant Susan Koblin Schear, this webinar will help you determine how your values and guiding principles impact your art practice, as well as to provide a framework for establishing attainable goals that reflect these principles. Strategies for developing and implementing goals will be discussed and supplemented with examples and best practices.
Led by artist Lynn Basa, this 90-minute webinar covers all aspects of researching and applying for public art commissions for visual artists. Questions answered include: Is public art for me? How do I find public art commissions? How does the selection process work? Does it require any special skills? Is it worth my while? Am I selling out if I make art for the general public?
All webinars are interactive and allow time for participants to ask questions.
To participate, all you need is access to a computer with speakers and an Internet connection (hard-wired preferred). There is no special software needed.
