Young Jean Lee

Young Jean Lee’s plays include The Shipment, CHURCH, Songs of the Dragons Flying to Heaven and Pullman, WA. They have been presented in New York at The Kitchen, The Public Theater, P.S. 122, HERE Arts Center, Soho Rep and the Ontological-Hysterical Theater, and have toured throughout the U.S. and Europe. Lee is a member of New Dramatists and 13P. Her plays have been published in Three Plays by Young Jean Lee, New Downtown Now, American Theatre magazine and her forthcoming Songs of the Dragons Flying to Heaven and Other Plays. Lee is the recipient of grants from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, the Multi-Arts Production (MAP) Fund, the Jerome Foundation, the Greenwall Foundation and NYSCA, as well as a 2007 Emerging Playwright Obie Award.
