Deb Olin Unferth is the author of the story collection Minor Robberies and the novel Vacation, which was a New York Times Critics’ Choice and winner of the Cabell First Novelist Award. Her memoir, Revolution: The Year I Fell in Love and Went to Join the War, will be published in February 2011. Her fiction has appeared in Harper’s, McSweeney’s Conjunctions, The Boston Review and other publications. A Harper’s Bazaar “Editors’ Choice: Name to Know in 2011,” Unferth has held residencies at MacDowell and Yaddo and received two Pushcart Prizes and fellowships from the Saltonstall Foundation and the Illinois Arts Council. Unferth is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at Wesleyan University.
