Ben Beres, Zac Culler and John Sutton all graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 2000, where they began collaborating on multi-disciplinary art projects as students. Since then, the three artists have shown in many venues in the Northwest, including the Henry Art Gallery, the Seattle Art Museum, the Tacoma Art Museum, On the Boards, Crawl Space, Lawrimore Project, CoCA, Suyama Space and Consolidated Works, as well as participating in many public performances and mobile projects. They were awarded a residency at the Bemis Center in Omaha, and received grants for their projects from Artist Trust, 4 Culture and One Reel. In 2005 the trio received a Genius Award from Seattle’s weekly publication, The Stranger, for outstanding artistic accomplishment.
