Nick Cave is a Chicago-based installation and performance artist. His work has been exhibited and presented at New York’s American Craft Museum; Macalaster College in St. Paul, Minnesota; The Fort Wayne Museum of Art; and several smaller galleries in the Midwest. He has been part of group shows at The Arts Connexion in Amsterdam; The Kestener Museum in Hannover, Germany; and the New Bedford Museum of Art in Alabama. He is on the faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has also taught at Beloit College, The University of North Carolina and Washington University, among other schools. He has received funding from Arts Midwest, The Illinois Arts Council and the Ford Foundation.
