Mark Napier is a digital media artist and software designer who has been exhibiting his work since 1993. His works for the web and electronic media include net.flag (2001), Feed (2000), and Pulse (1999). Napier was awarded a 2001 residency at the Sackler Center of the Guggenheim Museum, which also commissioned net.flag for its permanent collection. His previous work has been commissioned by San Francisco MoMA and The Whitney Museum. Napier has received funding from the Greenwall Foundation, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and The Fraunhofer Society.
