Eduardo Kac is an installation artist whose work often explores scientific frontiers. His solo exhibitions include Genesis 2 (2001), Language Works (1999), and Teleporting an Unknown State (1998); these exhibitions have been presented in Tempe, Arizona; Chicago; Rio De Janeiro; Maribor, Slovenia; and several other cities. Kac has received funding from the Greenwall Foundation, The Illinois Arts Council, The Daniel Langlois Foundation, and Artslink. His work has been written about widely in publications such as The New Yorker, ARTNews, and Art in America. Kac holds an MFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
