Webinar: Get Grants - How To Create A Project & Proposal that Gets-To-Yes, with Hoong Yee Krakauer
Sep 10 2015
Thursday, September 10, 7:00-8:30pm (EST)
In this session you will learn the key mindsets & strategies — from a grant reviewer’s point of view — that you can use to position yourself as the best candidate for the grant and give the grant panel everything they need to say YES to you.
This session is for you if you are an artist frustrated about how this all works or tired of wasting precious time chasing grants. Maybe you are a creative entrepreneur looking to fund the work you are passionate about, maybe you are overwhelmed and you don’t know where to start. Even if you are experienced and have had success in getting grants, you may still be frustrated wondering how grantwriting can become a part of your practice, not just another thing to add to your busy schedule
You will gain confidence knowing how all this works so you can focus on building your career and life as an artist or a creative professional. You will be ready with everything you need to get grants to fund what you love and to get your work out there.
Here’s what you will learn:
* 3 must-have parts of a mission powered project
* how to reframe your thinking and approach by revealing exactly what funders/grant reviewers really want and need to hear from you
* the secret mindset that successful grantwriters never lose sight of
* how to reverse engineer your get-to-yes proposal to perfectly align with your mission powered project
To attend this webinar, you will need access to a computer with speakers and an Internet connection (hard-wired is preferred over wireless). There is no special software needed.
Webinars are recorded. The recording will be shared with all previously registered participants after the webinar, regardless of whether participants attend the live workshop or not. Special one-time-only webinars, such as our Artists Talk Tech and Visual Arts Round Table interviews, will also be available for purchase after the fact.
If you experience trouble with the PayPal payment interface, please take one or more of the following the steps to resolve the issue:
* Complete the registration process on a computer and NOT on a tablet or mobile device
* Make sure your web browser software is totally up-to-date
* Delete your web browsing history and cache
* Completely close and reopen your browser software again
* Reboot your computer
* Try registering using a different web browser software (Google Chrome has been known to cause some problems)

ABOUT THE ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM
We are proud to offer selected topics from PDP workshops to the general public through the Online Learning Program. We are dedicated to extending our reach to artists who are new to Creative Capital’s professional development offerings, as well as those PDP alumni who are interested in a refresher course. Many of these courses are designed for individual artists of all disciplines, while others will be discipline-specific.
Most Online Learning sessions will be approximately 90 minutes in duration, including lecture and Q&A sessions. Webinars are taught and moderated live by talented workshop leaders, so the information is always up-to-date and engaging. Q&A sessions are included to be sure that all our participants have the chance to follow up on specific concerns.

"It would be hard to overstate the impact that the Creative Capital professional development program had on my life. I participated in the workshop eight years ago. It was truly a turning point, a eureka event that changed my self-image as an artist, changed my ability to set and achieve personal and artistic goals, changed my mindset..."
