Led by editor Ethan Nosowsky, this 90-minute webinar covers all aspects of the grant and residency process for writers, including researching appropriate programs, putting together a competitive application, and making the most of both award and rejection letters.
To attend this webinar, you will need access to a computer with speakers and an Internet connection (hard-wired is preferred over wireless). There is no special software needed.

ABOUT ETHAN NOSOWSKY
Ethan Nosowsky is Editorial Director at Graywolf Press and Literature Consultant for Creative Capital. He began his career at Farrar, Straus and Giroux, served as Graywolf’s editor-at-large from 2007–2011, and was most recently Editorial Director at McSweeney’s. He has edited books by Jeffery Renard Allen, Emily Barton, Elias Canetti, Geoff Dyer, Stephen Elliott, John Haskell, J. Robert Lennon and Isaac Bashevis Singer, among many others. He has taught in the Creative Writing program at Columbia University and has written for Bookforum, the San Francisco Chronicle andThreepenny Review.
ABOUT THE ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM
We are proud to offer selected topics from PDP workshops to the general public through the Online Learning Program. We are dedicated to extending our reach to artists who are new to Creative Capital’s professional development offerings, as well as those PDP alumni who are interested in a refresher course. Many of these courses are designed for individual artists of all disciplines, while others will be discipline-specific.
Most Online Learning sessions will be approximately 90 minutes in duration, including lecture and Q&A sessions. Webinars are taught and moderated live by talented workshop leaders, so the information is always up-to-date and engaging. Q&A sessions are included to be sure that all our participants have the chance to follow up on specific concerns.
