Where we visit
Outreach and community building

Creative Capital makes an ongoing effort to reach as many artists as possible. As part of this outreach, the organization attends conferences, symposia, and other events in the field nationwide. In addition, Creative Capital organizes Open Artists Meetings with local partner organizations in cities across the country. These meetings, which are open to all artists, introduce the foundation to the regional artistic community, and provide a forum for discussing Creative Capital's mission and the application process.

Creative Capital also convenes meetings with local arts organizations and arts professionals to acquaint them with the foundation's goals and to explore areas for partnership. These meetings also assist organizations in determining if the artists they currently serve should apply to Creative Capital.

Check the calendar for future Open Artists Meetings or if your organization would like to host a meeting, email us at info@creative-capital.org.
